Engaging secondary schools in Music hub activities can be challenging for various reasons. Our Charanga Secondary package has been designed, in part, to provide Music hubs with a great way to offer support to secondary schools without necessarily needing lots of intervention in terms of people initially.
Charanga Secondary provides support in two key areas:
- Accessible, cloud-based music technology software for every student and expert training for teachers where required.
- Practical, high-quality teaching resources for the school, including WCET-friendly band materials.
We know music is under pressure in many secondary schools, so we want to work with you to support teachers and generally help raise the profile of music as a subject within their fabric.
Each element of Charanga’s Secondary offer provides a point of engagement with the kind of activities that Music hubs are uniquely placed to coordinate.
